According to CyberSeek, a portal powered by Emsi Burning Glass data, only 68 qualified workers are available for every 100 cybersecurity jobs, and over 600,000 jobs open up for cybersecurity workers every year in the US.
Clearly there is a need for more talent in this specific area, and apprenticeships are a great way for hiring companies to find, and develop, talent who have the baseline skills and, more importantly, the transferable skills to bring to the role.
